A fantastic example of collaborative working has taken place in Grampound, where the Cormac Countryside Team, Cormac Volunteer Partnership, Grampound Parish Council, and dedicated village volunteers have joined forces to help reopen a public right of way.

The teams worked together to clear significant debris including rocks, fallen trees, and mud before creating a newly defined footpath complete with steps. This work has greatly improved the safety and accessibility of the route, enabling walkers to once again enjoy the surrounding countryside with confidence.

The positive impact was felt immediately by the local community, with messages of thanks received from parishioners who have a refreshed confidence to take walks in the area.

Well done to everyone involved, this project is a brilliant demonstration of what can be achieved through strong partnership working and community spirit.
