Cormac volunteering groups making a difference in their communities

Cormac’s active volunteering groups have been busy making a difference in their communities!

Volunteers across Looe Town tidied up neglected areas within the town. From weeding to sign washing to sweeping and litter picking, the team really got stuck in. The project is permitted and supported by the Cormac Volunteer Scheme through which the volunteers were covered by public liability insurance for the works. Thanks to the Cormac teams who removed three large dumpy bags of green waste produced by these fantastic volunteers.

In Launceston, volunteers have been working to brighten up the town centre. Unfortunately, funding couldn't be found for removal and replacement of some planters with something more attractive. Undeterred, and with materials and paint provided through the Cormac Volunteer Scheme, the members of Launceston in Bloom set about sprucing up the existing containers. Beautifully planted by the volunteers, these have now brightened up a dull corner.
