Our plan to deliver growth and prosperity for Cornwall

The contribution to an economy of a particular industry or sector is measured using gross value added (GVA). Across the group, we already generate a GVA of £91.7million to the South West, of which £81.6million is in Cornwall alone. By the end of 2022 this will have increased to £122million in Cornwall, rising to £136million when incorporating other operations in the South West.

We’ll grow the group of companies to optimise and focus on local market needs and opportunities through:

• investing in Cornwall, improving infrastructure and delivering community benefits through our own finances
• leveraging the benefits of new technology to deliver cost and service improvements
• providing employment and learning opportunities and apprenticeships for young people
• seeking revenue growth opportunities that take full advantage of our partnerships

We will be transforming our approach to customer service through innovation, new technology and supporting our staff to ensure the customer is at the heart of our delivery.
