What Corserv does

Corserv provides valued, high quality, essential services to the residents of Cornwall. We support our Shareholder’s goals while staying flexible in how we do business, enabling us to bring revenue into the county. We are a major employer, using predominantly local suppliers, and deliver significant social value across Cornwall. 

With Cornwall Council as our Shareholder, we aim to deliver a financial return in the form of a dividend, driven from a growing commercial portfolio.

However, we also want to grow the company by optimising and focusing on local market needs and opportunities through:

• investing in Cornwall, improving infrastructure and delivering community benefits
• leveraging the benefits of new technology to deliver cost and service improvements
• providing employment and learning opportunities and apprenticeships for young people
• seeking revenue growth opportunities that take full advantage of our partnerships

Through our divisions and their services, we align to, and help deliver, the council’s key objectives and priorities.

Governance Framework

Corserv is committed to high standards of corporate governance that reflect both private sector effectiveness and public sector accountability. Our governance structure is designed to support delivery of our Business Plan and to ensure accountability and effective oversight by our stakeholders.
