Lostwithiel residents praise the resurfacing project team

Residents from Lostwithiel are thrilled with the recent road resurfacing on Bodmin Hill. The project, completed by Cormac in August, aimed to improve road safety and accessibility. Despite challenging weather conditions, the surfacing team showed exceptional commitment and proficiency.

One resident said, "Everyone in Lostwithiel really appreciates this being done. Not just motorists but especially pedestrians, it was getting incredibly unsafe to travel. The road is now absolutely superb. Your workforce has been excellent. Always polite, helpful, informative and genuinely positive. They worked incredibly hard in all sorts of weather, from extreme heat to rain and always had smiles on their faces. Truly top marks, they did your company proud.”

Another resident emphasised the seamless delivery of the project, mentioning, " We were dreading the inconvenience but, in the event, it turned out very well. We had no inconvenient waits or hold-ups, and the job was completed on time and looks stunning.” The residents also acknowledged the challenges faced by the Cormac team and expressed their gratitude for the team's dedication.

The positive feedback extended beyond the quality of work to the team's conduct and professionalism. Despite encountering some unhappy drivers, the team's commitment to delivering a high standard of work was evident, and the residents were keen to ensure they expressed their gratitude.

The project's completion with very happy residents is a reflection of the team's hard work and stands as a great example of how effective communication, dedication, and a positive attitude can result in a successful and well-received improvement scheme. The residents of Lostwithiel are very grateful for the transformation of Bodmin Hill.

Well done, everyone!
