Tree planting in celebration of the Coverack coastal defence project

The residents of Coverack recently invited Cormac to take part in the planting of a celebratory tree, following the completion of the £3.25m coastal defence project that now protects the village, it's main access road and the coastline.

"We're delighted with the finished project" said one resident. "It's taken some time, but it was a huge job and Cormac and the guys kept the disruption to a minimum. They've worked really hard, and in some pretty tough weather conditions too. Their workmanship and skill is very impressive and we're all delighted. It looks great, thank you".

The £3.25m project incorporates a fifty-seven metre long concrete wall and eight thousand tonnes of granite rock armour. Materials were all brought in by sea.

Well done team!
