Cormac's Safety Stand-down: Connecting Cormac over two days of events

Recently, Cormac colleagues took a meaningful pause from their day-to-day work to come together for Cormac's annual Business and Safety Stand-down— centred around the themes of Zero Harm, Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.

Rather than the traditional safety format usually undertaken, colleagues enjoyed a more interactive and engaging experience. Teams from across the business seized the opportunity to showcase their work and create a chance to network, share ideas, and learn from one another in a relaxed and informal setting.

The event was as focused on people as it was on safety, with an emphasis on:

• Mental health and wellbeing, with open conversations and support resources. Including an impactful session from our supported men's mental health charity, Man Down, with their powerful motto "Let's talk about it".
• Zero harm, highlighting the importance of behavioural safety, demonstrating how individual actions and attitudes can reduce risks.
• Business updates, providing everyone with an opportunity to engage and learn more about the broader business.
