We contribute significantly to local communities, environments and economies through our diverse range of services. This provides us with both the responsibility and opportunity to drive highly positive societal outcomes at a time when the world faces complicated issues such as climate change and social inequality.
We are now building on that momentum, launching a new updated ‘Sustainability and Social Value Strategy’ which targets over half a billion (£) of added value by 2030. Based around three core pillars – People, Planet, and Prosperity – this strategy reflects our new one-company ‘Corserv Solutions’ business structure, highlights positive progress made so far, and sets a clear framework for the next phase of our journey.
"Businesses have a vital role in shaping a sustainable future, and our Sustainability and Social Value Strategy is a testament to that responsibility. It reflects our commitment to driving positive change and delivering meaningful value for the local communities that we serve. We’re excited to continue this journey and look forward to collaborating with our stakeholders to turn these ambitions into meaningful action, openly sharing our progress along the way.”
Neil Edmond, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
“We’ve made significant progress on sustainability in recent years, but to stay resilient and forward-thinking in a rapidly changing world and amidst complex challenges like climate and ecological emergencies, our strategic approach must continue to evolve. By continually reviewing our performance and embracing new emerging opportunities, we can meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs”.
Stuart Wright, Head of Environmental Sustainability
