Cormac had its Year 2 review on the Environment Agency’s Maintenance Framework on Friday 06 March, and the outcome was extremely positive. The review highlighted a continuous improvement over the period, recognising Cormac as a leading national supplier on the innovation KPI and as a highly collaborative business. An EA representative described the results as “smashing it out of the park”.

The Environment Agency operates a sophisticated and demanding Performance Management framework that drives continuous improvement. Its assessment of Cormac's performance is therefore highly quantitative and transparent against defined KPIs.

This success reflects the leadership and commitment of Andrew Smith, who leads the Civil Engineering Lot, and Ann Trevarton who leads the Vegetation and Habitat Creation Lot. Many Cormac colleges across the business contribute to this EA work, demonstrating strong collaboration and commitment.

The formal feedback from the EA recognising Cormac's collaborative approach, resilience and innovation is high praise. As part of the national framework, Cormac is benchmarked against other providers across the country and are currently ranked second out of 23 suppliers on the innovation KPI, an incredibly important result given the central role innovation and collaboration play in successfully delivering projects.

Thank you and congratulations to everyone involved – your work is recognised, appreciated and valued.
