easyJet has announced a new domestic route connecting London Gatwick and Newquay, offering passengers more choice and improved access to Cornwall ahead of the busy summer season.

The new service will launch on 23 June 2026, with flights operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Seats are now available to book via the easyJet website, with fares starting at £30.99.

The route will provide a convenient and affordable option for those looking to explore Cornwall's coastline, visit friends and family, or travel for business. It also enhances connectivity between the South East and the South West, while opening up onward connections via Gatwick to destinations across Europe and beyond.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet UK Country Manager, said: “We are delighted to be launching flights from London Gatwick to Newquay this summer, providing even greater connectivity for customers in London and the South East wishing to explore Cornwall. The new route will not only offer direct links to the South West but will also provide access to Europe and beyond through our leading short-haul network, while continuing to support Cornwall’s important visitor economy."

The announcement has been welcomed by Cornwall Airport Newquay, with Commercial Director Nigel Scott highlighting the importance of the new route in meeting growing demand for travel to the region, while supporting tourism during the peak summer period.

With Cornwall remaining one of the UK's most popular holiday destinations, the new Gatwick-Newquay service is expected to play a key role in supporting our visitor economy, while making travel more accessible for all.
