A once boggy stretch of footpath at Tresahor Vean in Constantine has been transformed into a safe and accessible route, thanks to the hard work of the Countryside West Team.

Completed in early spring, the newly installed boardwalk now spans the head of the Cornish river, creating a dry and stable path for ramblers to enjoy the surrounding woodland glade. Where walkers once had to carefully watch their footing, they can now concentrate on fully appreciating the natural beauty of the area.

The project was made possible through capital funding from Cornwall Council, enabling vital improvements to both accessibility and safety, and the property owners have expressed delight at the transformation.

The before and after images below show how significant the improvement has been, turning a once challenging section of path into an inviting route for all to enjoy.

This is a fantastic example of improving community access to our natural spaces.
