We’re delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement by Ebony Senior, Quantity Surveyor in Cormac Infrastructure Operations, who has recently attained Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

Ebony joined the business in 2021 through Cormac's Surveying Technician Apprenticeship, and since then has demonstrated outstanding commitment to her professional development. Alongside gaining valuable on-the-job experience, she has successfully completed a four-year Quantity Surveying degree with the University of the Built Environment (UBE, formerly UCEM).

In addition, Ebony has progressed through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), completed her Continued Professional Development (CPD), and successfully passed her final professional interview, an impressive and demanding journey.

Reflecting on her achievement, Ebony said: “Achieving MRICS status is a huge personal milestone for me, it’s been a long time coming! The wait for my final interview results felt like the longest week ever, but I’m so happy to finally share the good news and celebrate properly. This was all made possible by the support of a fantastic team around me. I look forward to continuing to contribute my experience and playing my part in the quality of work we deliver.”

Chris Wood, Head of Commercial – Infrastructure Operations, added: “This is a fantastic achievement and recognises Ebony's strong work ethic and commitment to continued professional development. It also highlights her ethics and integrity, both vital attributes in the role of a Quantity Surveyor. Special thanks must go to Sophie Phillips, Managing Quantity Surveyor, and Hannah Cooke, Senior Quantity Surveyor, who have provided ongoing support to Ebony throughout her journey.”

Please join us in congratulating Ebony on this well-deserved milestone!
