Congratulations to George Vincent, Project Quantity Surveyor in Cormac Term Service Contracts, on becoming a full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), supported through Cormac’s development programme.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the global professional body for standards in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. It operates under a Royal Charter and sets the benchmark for professional practice in the industry.
George completed a postgraduate MSc in Quantity Surveying, followed by a 24-month Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with Cormac. The process included a competency-based submission with a case study and summary of experience, 12 months of CPD, and a 60-minute interview featuring a technical presentation of the case study to a panel.
Matt Trahair, Commercial Manager - Cormac Term Service Contracts, said: “I’m thrilled for George. It’s been a pleasure to mentor him and watch him develop within the team and at Cormac over the years. The APC process is tough - it requires candidates to demonstrate a balance of technical expertise and ethical professional judgement. George showed real maturity throughout and deserves this recognition for his hard work and commitment. George achieving this qualification will also support the development of the wider Commercial team, particularly with three Level 6-degree apprentices joining in January 2026 and others in the team set to follow the same pathway to achieve MRICS.”
Well done on this brilliant achievement, George!
