Cormac’s Jack Spittal recognised as CIOB Rising Star Award winner

Huge congratulations to Jack Spittal MCIOB, Operations Manager at Cormac, who has been named the Cornwall and Plymouth Rising Star winner in the inaugural Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Hub Recognition Awards 2026.

The new global awards celebrate CIOB members who are making an exceptional contribution to the construction industry and the communities they serve. Winners are recognised in two categories: Rising Star, honouring professionals in the first five years of their career who are already making a positive impact, and Outstanding Contribution Award, recognising those who have made a significant and lasting difference to the industry.

Jack was selected as the Rising Star winner for Cornwall and Plymouth; a fantastic achievement that highlights both his professional expertise and his commitment to excellence within the industry.
