Corserv Care celebrates social care excellence at Proud to Care Awards 2026

Corserv Care was proud to support the Proud to Care Awards 2026 on Friday 11 September, an annual event that celebrates the outstanding individuals and organisations making a difference across Cornwall's adult social care sector.

As sponsor of the Darren Williams Award for Leading System Change to Improve Care Delivery, Corserv Care helped recognise those who are driving innovation and improving outcomes for people who access care and support services.

This year's award was presented to Anthony Dunn, a Citizens Checker who is dedicated to supporting individuals, families and carers to access the help they need. Anthony's commitment to empowering people and improving access to support made him a worthy winner of the award.

The ceremony, held at Tregenna Castle, featured special guest Sally Phillips, actor, writer and comedian, who is a passionate advocate for people with learning disabilities and their families. Sally co-hosted the evening alongside Henry Rosewall from CHAOS, helping to celebrate the exceptional work taking place across Cornwall's care sector.

Councillor Jim McKenna, Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health Partnership, also attended and spoke in support of the invaluable contribution made by Cornwall's adult social care workforce.

The Proud to Care Awards highlight the dedication, innovation and compassion that underpin high-quality care across Cornwall, and Corserv Care is honoured to continue supporting initiatives that recognise and celebrate these achievements.
