The East Landscapes team has recently completed a significant project at Thanckes Park recreation ground in Torpoint, replacing over 200 metres of boundary timber fencing.

The team worked closely with the Environment Steward throughout the project to design and deliver a solution that met the needs of the site and its users. This collaborative approach ensured that both practical requirements and the user experience were fully considered from the outset.

As part of the preparatory work, sensitive vegetation clearance was carried out to create sufficient space for the installation while protecting the surrounding environment. The team also adhered strictly to best practice guidance for safe working around underground utilities, ensuring the project was delivered safely and responsibly.

This project marks an important step forward for the Landscapes team, demonstrating their growing capability to plan and deliver projects of this scale in-house. It highlights the team’s skills, knowledge, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes across our sites.
